CineBistro Peachtree Corners is moving forward with permitting after the City Council late-November approved the exterior building design for the dine-in movie theatre.

A building permit application Friday was filed in Gwinnett County to construct the 35,000-square-foot cinema complex at Peachtree Corners Town Center from the ground up.

CineBistro Peachtree Corners, in the 5200 Block of Peachtree Parkway, was first announced in July.

Fuqua's Madison Yards development will soon break ground on Publix, one of the project's anchor tenants.

Several permit applications this week were filed with the City of Atlanta to develop land where the grocery store will be situated, and to build its "shell" from the ground up.

An estimated $5,000,000 will be spent constructing the 55,655-square-foot building including electrical and plumbing work.

An Aldi grocery store is going up quickly at the Decatur Crossing development and will be open to shoppers next year, the company's spokesperson says.

Chef-owner Ford Fry's new The El Felix outpost opens Monday, Nov. 20 at the Battery Atlanta, and its old-timey taco truck is just about ready.

The truck is a key part of the restaurant: Smith Hanes Studio built the garage-like space for the 1947 Raymond Lowey-inspired taco truck into the building's design. So, the truck has a pretty sweet spot to call home when it's offering on-the-go snacks like nachos, steak and chicken tacos al carbon, and hot tamales.

A barbecue restaurant chain that is new on the scene in the Atlanta market is hoping to connect with the community at a newly opened Decatur location.

City Barbeque, founded in 1999 in Columbus, Ohio celebrated opening day earlier in September. According to the restaurant's website, City Barbeque is known for "meats that are smoked on-site at each restaurant, hand rubbed with spices, and take upwards of 18 hours to prepare as well as sides made from scratch in each restaurant."

The term 'sports bar' has devolved in perception to raise images of dank, under-designed bars that serve piss beer. Sure, many sports bars are drink-able; meaning I'd be willing to drink there if it means I can watch the game. But I don't enjoy it.

However, in a push to bring the sports bar concept into the modern-age of architecture and amenities, Jeffrey Beers International - acclaimed for designing iconic gathering places in cities around the world - has been enlisted by The Cordish Companies to design a 30,000-square-foot super sports bar at SunTrust Park in Atlanta, Georgia.

Already operating no less than 10 Atlanta restaurants, empire builder Ford Fry is taking his show to the street with a new food truck. The truck will operate outside Fry's forthcoming El Felix outpost at Cobb County's Battery development, reports Atlanta Magazine, but despite the engine and wheels, it will remain stationary.

The truck, designed by local firm Office of Brothers and built by Food Trucks South, will specialize in quick service that is ideal on Atlanta Braves game days, according to Atlanta. Portable items such as nachos, tacos, hot tamales, margaritas, and beer will be on the menu. Fry tells the publication he hopes his truck will be seen as "a good late-night, post-game option."

SMYRNA, GA -- If you like fried chicken (who doesn't, right?) and such (because the such is important), you'll love the fact that The Battery Atlanta adjacent to the Braves new stadium is opening a new restaurant this week.

Marc Taft's Feed Fried Chicken + Such is opening its doors on Tuesday, Aug. 29, Patch has learned.

The kitchen will be led by executive chef Damon Wise, executing dishes, alongside Hopkins' signature from-scratch and whole-animal, whole-vegetable approach.

Steak will be sourced from up to 15 brands, farms and artisan butchers across the nation. From the colossal tomahawk ribeye out of Nebraska and cowgirl ribeye from Iowa, to Denver steak from Texas's 44 Farms, dry-aged porterhouse from Kansas and Delmonico chuck from Idaho's Snake River Farms. The beef will be prepared using fire, iron and steel - through the use of la plancha, a broiler and cast-iron skillets in various sizes. A beef tasting that features Angus filet, Tajimi strip and Charolais ribcap will let guests compare and contrast different cuts and breeds. To dress each cut of steak, C. Ellet's has created a unique offering of sauces, styles and butters; Geechee style with fried oysters and marmalade, Eugene style with egg and red-eyed gravy, sauce Colbert, bone marrow butter and Sapelo shrimp, to name a few. Beef selections may be complemented by seasonal sides such as roast baby carrots with puffed sorghum and dill, Thomasville Tomme White Flint grit souffle and roast hen of the woods mushrooms.

Linton and Gina Hopkins' steakhouse C. Ellet's is now open in The Battery at SunTrust Park at 2605 Circle 75 Parkway, Suite 400. With a kitchen helmed by executive chef Damon Wise, the eatery will focus on steaks, seafood and oysters along with vegetable dishes.The menu will feature dishes showcasing "Hopkins' signature from-scratch and whole-animal, whole-vegetable approach," according to a press release, including steaks sourced from 15 brands, farms and butchers across the country and prepared using a variety of methods and presentations; rack of Colorado lamb; Gulf black grouper with Sapelo clams and Vidalia onions, Kankan pork chop with skillet peaches and peppered butterbeans; and small plates including tableside White Oak steak tartare, New Orleans BBQ shrimp with Creole-butter sauce and French bread and shellfish pan roasts.

Chef Hugh Acheson has built an interesting mix of businesses since he landed on the culinary map with Five & Ten in Athens in 2000. Along with a stint as a Top Chef judge and authoring three cookbooks (one of which won him a James Beard award), Acheson also operates Empire State South in Midtown, the National in Athens, and Spiller Park, a Ponce City Market coffee shop that has a second location opening soon in Toco Hills. But after just two years, his Italian-inspired restaurant in Savannah, the Florence, closed in June.

Chef Hector Santiago plans to bring El Super Pan to The Battery Atlanta, the mixed-use development at the Atlanta Braves' new home SunTrust Park.

It will be the second location of the popular Latin American restaurant and bar, taking 4,200 square feet at the project. It's set to open in spring 2018.

El Super Pan's first location, at Ponce City Market, in Midtown has been a hit since its 2015 debut.

The Peachtree Corners City Council voted Tuesday to provide Smart Cities Technology at the Town Center development scheduled to open in 2018. CH2M is the provider for the technology costing $474,440 and includes 15 LED lights, 251 smart parking sensors, seven digital signs, seven Wi-Fi access points, seven cameras, and the analytics platform.

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to do yoga in the shadow of a big league baseball stadium, well, now’s your chance to find out. The Battery Atlanta is offering free yoga sessions on the green lawn of its Plaza now through the end of October.

In an effort to help guests relax the mind and spirit, The Battery Atlanta has announced plans for yoga and improv in The Plaza. The yoga will continue every Thursday through Oct. 26, weather permitting (except on game days) and is free to the public.

First up will be Yoga in the Plaza, a partnership with Vita-Prana Yoga on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. on the green lawn of the Plaza.

Celebrity chef Hugh Acheson is set to open his third dining concept at The Battery.

The restaurant - Acheson's eighth - will be called Achie's and located in the Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta, set to open in early 2018.

In an effort to help guests relax the mind and spirit, The Battery at SunTrust Park is offering new Thursday programming, including yoga and improv.

Last Thursday, The Battery launched its first public fitness class, Yoga in the Plaza, a partnership with Vita-Prana Yoga. The classes are free to the public and will continue through October 26, except on game days.

Mark O'Brien took over as president of Mizuno USA in January, two years after joining the sporting goods firm. In April, the company opened its first Mizuno Experience Center. The 4,000-square-foot high-tech retail space is part of The Battery Atlanta, the mixed-use district next to SunTrust Park, the Braves' new stadium. The store uses video technology in a "laboratory" setting to separate itself from traditional retailers.

Jim 'N' Nick's Bar-B-Q, Marlow's Tavern and Willy's Mexicana Grill are among 11 restaurants and four stores that will be part of the Peachtree Corners Town Center development, the Gwinnett Daily Post reports.

Fuqua Development broke ground on the 21-acre development in June.

Peachtree Corners officials have unveiled names of 11 restaurants and four retail stores and office businesses that will join Cinebistro to fill out the city's Town Center development.

Cinebistro was the first name announced by city officials, but the growing list of tenants now includes 16 businesses all together. The city sold 12 acres of the land on Peachtree Parkway to Fuqua Development in 2015 so it could be developed as a mixed-use district that is intended to essentially be Peachtree Corners downtown area.

Chipotle could open its newest Atlanta-area location in the forthcoming Northside & 17th mixed-use development, a 12.5-acre site next door to IKEA Atlantic Station.

The project is being developed in a joint venture with Fuqua Development and The Ardent Companies.

According to club executives, the Atlanta Braves are already seeing positive results from the openings of SunTrust Park and The Battery Atlanta.

Since its opening in April, SunTrust Park has attracted a fair amount of attention for its state-of-the-art features and gameday amenities. While the ballpark itself - which was the first new Major League Baseball facility to open since Miami's Marlins Park in 2012 - has been a positive for the Braves, another major component of the project has been key to the franchise thus far.

The Braves are "well ahead of schedule" on rebuilding the team and headed "nothing but up from here," the club's top executive told investors Tuesday.

Braves chairman and CEO Terry McGuirk also had bullish comments about SunTrust Park's opening months, calling the stadium and adjacent mixed-use development "a model-breaking phenomenon."

CUMBERLAND - The future of space exploration has rolled onto the surface of The Battery Atlanta, as visitors to the Cumberland destination can see this weekend a Mars rover concept vehicle built with input from NASA engineers.

Designed by Cape Canaveral-based Parker Brothers Concepts, the nearly 11-foot-tall, 5,500-pound vehicle will be on display throughout the weekend as part of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex's "Summer of Mars Experience" tour, with The Battery serving as the tour's first stop.

Linton Hopkins (Restaurant Eugene, Holeman and Finch) will open his steakhouse, C. Ellet's, at the Battery Atlanta at SunTrust Park later this month. The restaurant is named for Hopkins's great-grandfather, Charles Ellet, Jr., who worked as a a U.S. Army Corps engineer building bridges connecting the Southeast. (Ellett fought with the Union Navy and ultimately lost his life in the Battle of Memphis.)

The burger chain that was created by chef Paul Wahlberg and his actor brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg has quietly opened doors at 455 Legends Place in The Battery at SunTrust Park.

Jeffrey Fuqua, co-founder and principal of Atlanta-based Fuqua Development, has wanted to develop a 74-acre forested site in northwest Atlanta for the past two decades, but major underground gas pipelines made the prospect financially unworkable. Now, with his firm as lead retail developer in a $1.2 billion partnership with the Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball franchise, he is finally realizing his dream. Three years ago the Braves decided to move from their Turner Field ballpark just outside downtown Atlanta to suburban Cobb County. The organization worked to relocate those gas lines as part of its agreement to develop a new $672 million stadium called SunTrust Park, along with the adjacent Battery Atlanta mixed-use project. The Braves' new ballpark opened for the baseball season on April 14.

The city of Peachtree Corners plans to break ground on its Town Center project today.

The $103 million mixed-use development will sit on 21 acres along Peachtree Parkway.

Atlanta's Fuqua Development LLC is developing the 250,000-square-foot project. It will feature dine-in theater CineBistro, restaurants, shops, office space, 70 townhomes and a two-acre town green with a veterans monument and interactive water feature.

Peachtree Corners will break ground on its new 21-acre mixed-use town center at 2 p.m. June 30, near the traffic circle at the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and Forum Drive.

Constructed on one of the city's only remaining undeveloped sizeable tracts of land on Peachtree Parkway, the $103 million project will include anchor tenant Cinebistro, a dinner and a movie theater, restaurants, retail shops, office space, townhomes and a 2-acre town green.

The property had been slated for a 270 garden-style apartment development before the city stepped in to purchase the property in 2013.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA - Work on the much-anticipated Town Center development in downtown Peachtree Corners is about to get started.

On the eve of the city's fifth anniversary, a groundbreaking ceremony for the 21-acre, mixed-use development is set for Friday at 2 p.m.

The event will be held next to the traffic circle near the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and Forum Drive.

New details were released on plans to bring CineBistro to the Peachtree Corners Town Center project that is underway in western Gwinnett this week.

The news that CineBistro is coming to Peachtree Corners is itself not new, since city officials announced in March that it would be part of the Town Center project. The upscale cinema and in-theatre dining brand's parent company, Cobb Theaters, released details of its leasing agreement with Fuqua Development on Monday, however.

This will be CineBistro's second location in Georgia - following the opening of its Town Brookhaven location in 2011.

For decades, fans have brought their glove to ballparks in hope of bringing home the most sought-after souvenir. When the Braves opened SunTrust Park, they wanted to experiment with giving more fans that experience and Mizuno was on board with baseball's first-ever Glove Experience.

The two Mizuno Glove Experience kiosks located inside the Left Field and Chop House gates of the park allow fans to pick out any style and size glove and with a $1 hold on a credit card and an email address, they can use it for the game.

Upscale dine-in theater chain CineBistro on Monday confirmed it will open its second Georgia location in Peachtree Corners.

It will come to the 21-acre Town Center project, which will also include restaurants, shops, office space, residences and a town green. It's along Peachtree Parkway and across from The Forum. The project is being developed in partnership with Atlanta's Fuqua Development LLC.

The opening of Todd English Tavern in Live at The Battery Atlanta adjacent to SunTrust Park seems to be another sign that the entertainment district aims to be a year-round dining destination.

Of course, English has been a star chef since coming on the scene in the early '90s, and opening iconic fine dining restaurants such as Olives in Boston.

More recently, the English brand has been associated with airports, hotels and cruise ships, and international ventures from Orlando to Mexico City and Abu Dhabi, not to mention the Todd English Food Hall at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

But Todd English Tavern is a homecoming of sorts for English, who lived in Atlanta between the ages of 6 and 16, and attended the Galloway School.

I never got to see Atlanta Fulton County Stadium, but somehow it's where my earliest memories of the Atlanta Braves were formed.

My dad and I spent every summer watching as those teams of the 1980s struggled their way through the season.

It was during those first years of my life that I fell in love with baseball, Dale Murphy and RC Cola.

And somehow the losing didn't seem too terrible.

Nestled in the shadows of SunTrust Park, Doc's Food & Spirits has been a fixture in the community for 35 years.

Fun things to do in and around SunTrust Park and The Battery ATL are still emerging and may become the premiere destination for foodies, families, and fans alike, located in Atlanta at the intersection of Interstate 75 and Interstate 285 in the bustling Cumberland area.

It's not every day a new Major League Baseball ballpark opens, so we're celebrating the occasion with a series of stories about what fans can expect from SunTrust Park, new home of the Atlanta Braves. We begin the series with a look at the beer and beverage offerings at SunTrust Park.

Those who attend games at SunTrust Park this year can expect much more than baseball to be on tap. While there are many new features to look forward to at the new home of the Atlanta Braves, one of the most notable offerings will be the amount of unique alcoholic beverages available at the ballpark.

Starting with a non-traditional baseball offering, SunTrust Park will feature signature cocktails. One of the most notable is Braves Bramble, which features bourbon, smoked rosemary, blackberry syrup, topped with lemon-lime soft drink. Braves Bramble will be available at the Coopers' Craft Bourbon Bar, located on the first-base side of the terrace level at SunTrust Park.

Live, Work and play ball!

SunTrust Park is not only home to the Atlanta Braves, but also a wide variety of restaurants, shops, apartments and other venues.

Crews have worked to wrap up those finishing touches before Live! at the Battery Atlanta opens to guests for the home opener.

'The entertainment and they energy that we bring also, is pretty close to the ballpark...a lot of fun," said Director of Operations Ben Brengle.

Mizuno is the Official Baseball Gear Partner of the Atlanta Braves -- and now, Braves fans have the chance to feel like a pro in a one-of-a-kind "experience center" in Atlanta.

Yard House, the California-based sports bar chain that has an outpost in Atlantic Station, just opened the doors at its second Atlanta location. The restaurant began service Monday at the Battery development that lies adjacent to SunTrust Park, new home of the Atlanta Braves.

Regular hours at 825 Battery Avenue are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. More than 130 beers are available on tap, including 37 brews from the state of Georgia. Yard House's food menu includes dishes such as poke nachos, Nashville hot chicken, and fried gnocchi, and there are a number of vegan and vegetarian options. While the chain already operates an Atlanta location, the team hopes to offer a unique experience at its new address.

The second Atlanta location of The Brass Tap is opening today. The new location of the craft beer bar will be in the Glenwood Place development, at 790 Glenwood Avenue in Suite 260.

The Florida-based franchise, which opened its first Atlanta location last year, will offer more than 300 local, national and international craft beers. Beer experts will be able to guide customers to the perfect selection and can answer customers' questions, according to the Brass Tap website.

The food menu at The Brass Tap is comprised of pub grub (wings, pizza, and burgers) with a twist on traditional flavors.

The Atlanta Braves are focused on making SunTrust Park and The Battery Atlanta next door as a destination that will attract guests year-round, even during the baseball offseason.

To that end, the Braves have announced that the mixed-use development being built adjacent to the stadium will feature a hotel, an office tower, an entertainment venue, retail space for restaurants and shopping and residential living space.

The ballclub has been slowly rolling out announcing the tenants of the $452 million mixed-use development. In March 2015, Comcast was announced to be the sole tenant of the nine-story office tower in the development. More than 1,000 Comcast employees will work out of the 200,000-square-foot space.

Metro Atlanta's newest mixed-use community is scheduled to open next month, welcoming Atlanta Braves fans and residents simply looking to unwind after a long day of work with a Terrapin beer, slice of pizza from Antico and a game of cornhole.

While The Battery Atlanta will offer a series of special events throughout the complex, in addition to Braves games at SunTrust Park, and dining and shopping opportunities, there are a few entertainment venues that are dedicated to bringing new live entertainment and gaming options to Cobb County.

Here are three entertainment spaces within The Battery Atlanta that are sure to entertain both kids and adults:

A more than billion-dollar mini city has risen in Cobb County that promises to be a sporting and entertainment destination unlike Atlanta has ever seen.

Kroger is in talks with Fuqua Development to anchor a retail-centric, mixed-use project at 1299 Northside Drive, a 12.5-acre site next door to the IKEA in Atlantic Station, according to sources.

The project, still tentatively named Northside & 17th, is being developed in a joint venture with The Ardent Cos. Fuqua Development founder Jeff Fuqua and Ardent director of acquisitions Scott Werbel declined to comment.

A Kroger spokesman stated in an email that the grocer had no information as of press time. The developers have switched gears from previous plans to add multifamily to the project and instead intend to focus on retail and office space. A land disturbance permit filed late last year with the City of Atlanta indicates the project would include space for a grocer, restaurants, a bank and retail.

With SunTrust Park set to open in a matter of days, the Atlanta Braves will be reintroducing MLB's Ballpark app to fans.

According to Greg Mize, Director of Digital Marketing at the Braves, content within the app won't just be baseball-specific, though. It is the first time Major League Baseball Advanced Media is allowing a MLB team to incorporate such content.

SunTrust Park is situated near The Battery Atlanta, a development area that includes restaurants, retail, housing and other features. Mize said that when he and the Braves researched the possibility of building a separate app for The Battery, it didn't make sense. Other retail and development apps they examined didn't receive significant download rates, and if a consumer used an app, it was for just one time. Instead, having one consolidated app experience was the ultimate decision.

Chef Todd English has restaurants all over the world, from New York to Kuwait. On April 12, he'll finally add his hometown to the list. Todd English Tavern, a sophisticated global eatery, will open as part of Live! at the Battery Atlanta, a large dining and entertainment venue at SunTrust Park.

Serving lunch and dinner daily, late night on weekends, and eventually brunch, Todd English Tavern will be led by head chef Jimmy Reyes and bartender Carl Grossglass. It will accept both reservations and walk-ins, and Braves attire is welcome. English shares his vision below.

Peachtree Corners has made a big step toward turning its Town Center project into a reality.

The city announced the land for the project, which has been in planning for more than a year, has been sold to Fuqua Development. Officials are now looking to May, when a groundbreaking ceremony is expected to be held. An exact ground-breaking date has not yet been set though.

The 21-acre mixed-use project will include townhomes, a CineBistro theater, restaurants, retail shops, office space, townhomes and a town green. Fuqua has pre-leased at least 60 percent of the space already, according to the city.

Peachtree Corners has sold the town center property to Atlanta-based Fuqua Development. The developer expects to break ground this spring. The 21-acre site will be a mixed-use development with a theater, restaurants, retail shops, office space, townhomes and a town green.

The sale, which took place on Feb. 28, follows Fuqua Development meeting its pre-leasing target of 60 percent that includes the center's anchor tenant, Cinebistro. The Town Center will feature at least 10 restaurants, ground floor retail space and second floor office space and 2-acre town green for community gatherings and events.

The development includes over 70 high-end townhomes to be built by Inline Construction. Work on the three-story townhomes is also expected to start this spring.

A large, formerly industrial site on rapidly changing Memorial Drive will soon begin its transformation into a mega mixed-use center.

Prolific developer Jeff Fuqua has filed plans with the city to begin the first phase of his "Madison Yards" project. The development, which has been in the works for more than a year, will fill the site long occupied by manufacturer Leggett & Platt.

According to Bisnow, initial work on the site will replace the former mattress factory with more than 160,000 square feet of retail, 80,000 square feet of offices, a grocery, and movie theater. While the grocery store was formerly annouced as a Sprouts, rumors suggest it could now be a Publix.

Fuqua Development is moving forward with plans to develop its next Memorial Drive mixed-use project Madison Yards.

The Atlanta-based developer this week filed a permit application with City of Atlanta to begin land development for Madison Yards, Bisnow Tuesday first reported.

The project, at 905 Memorial Drive on a 17-acre site near I-20, calls for 160,000 square feet of retail, 80,000 square feet of offices, a grocer, and movie theatre, replacing what was once a mattress factory.

The anchor dining and entertainment district at The Battery Atlanta will have 10 bars, a mechanical bull and cuisine from celebrity chef Todd English.

On Monday, Atlanta Business Chronicle got an exclusive hard hat tour of Live! at The Battery Atlanta, a roughly 40,000-square-foot facility that will sit outside the entrance to the Atlanta Braves' new home, SunTrust Park. It will employ nearly 400 people and is set to begin opening in April.

Yard House will occupy 12,000 square feet with a center-island bar, a signature design element of the restaurant. It will offer 130 beers on tap, including several local and regional brews.

The next wave of restaurant openings also includes Chef Hugh Acheson's First & Third Hot Dog and Sausage Shack. Guests can treat themselves to elevated ballpark classics and also experience flavors from Andouille to Merguez.

Themes of baseball and the Atlanta Braves will echo at the four-star Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta.

On Wednesday, media got a first look inside the 264-room hotel that will sit near right field at the Braves' new home, SunTrust Park. Its guest rooms not only will offer views into the ballpark, but also its adjoining mixed-use development, The Battery Atlanta.

Today, construction on the hotel is about 50 percent complete. It's expected to open in early 2018.

The 16-story hotel will offer 12,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 5,000-square-foot ballroom. There also will be an open-air pool deck with a bar. And, the Omni will have a restaurant that partners with a yet-to-be-named chef, along with a coffee and wine bar.

The Battery Atlanta is well on its way to being ready for the excitable fans and expectations that await.

But it's going to take more than baking an apple pie to make The Battery Atlanta set for move-in.

Brian Oates with the developer Pollack Shores and Jeremy Strife, who is general manager of The Battery, answered questions during the exclusive tour.

Fuqua Development and TPA Group will present the project March 2. They want to rezone 15.5 acres from office and industrial uses to mixed-use zoning.

The Battery entertainment complex adjacent to the Atlanta Braves new stadium SunTrust Park will offer plenty of options for dining and drinking. Now, there is one more reason to hit up The Battery before, during and after the game: Celebrity chef Todd English has signed on to open a restaurant.

The Atlanta-raised English is coming back to his roots and opening Todd English Tavern. It is one of three concepts within a larger venue called Live! at the Battery. The other two concepts include PBR Atlanta (which will be similar to its sister site in St. Louis' Ballpark Village adjacent to Busch Stadium) as well as an entertainment-plex called Sports & Social. Live! at the Battery will be owned by the Cordish Companies and operated by ECI, its subsidiary that manages restaurants, bars and clubs.

At Todd English Tavern, dishes will have a Southern heritage with an international influence. The menu will include a number of shareable offerings as well as items like an upscale riff on an oyster po' boy of corn pone with truffles and oysters. The signature burger will be a pork and truffle version with pork shoulder confit served with fennel-apple salad. English also stated that some pub grub would be tweaked as vegetable-based offerings, such as cauliflower tater tots.

The real estate group behind The Battery Atlanta released details Tuesday about its three planned apartment complexes, some of which will overlook SunTrust Park - your backyard if you lived there.

With the Atlanta Falcons season over, the city can focus on the upcoming Atlanta Braves season -- and the teams new digs at SunTrust Park.

The Battery entertainment complex that's part of the park will offer up plenty of options for dining and drinking before, during and after the game.

Here are the spots that have been confirmed so far:

Punch Bowl Social is bringing its eat, drink and play "eatertainment" concept to The Battery Atlanta in September, the company announced last month.

The Denver-based company plans to open a 27,000-square-foot restaurant, bar and entertainment venue adjacent to SunTrust Park.

The two-story facility will include eight bowling lanes, one bocce court, three private karaoke rooms, a custom built 360-degree bar, various lounging and gathering spots and a 2,200-square-foot rooftop patio.

A slew of stores have opened in the massive new Kennesaw Marketplace mixed-use development not far from CarMax in north Cobb at the intersection of Highway 41 and Barrett Parkway, but construction is still ongoing.

Although some retail shops are doing business, the "luxury senior apartments for people 55 and over" aren't yet ready, said Kennesaw Mayor Derek Easterling.

"They are developing other stores as we speak and will be for the next several months," he said. "When it's finished, it'll total 300,000 square feet."

He said about 15 business establishments are open now and that "something is opening every day."

The Atlanta Braves and their development partners have shuffled the food and entertainment lineup a bit outside the new SunTrust Park with a new social club concept that includes celebrity chef Hugh Acheson as a partner.

The Braves said Tuesday that Punch Bowl Social, a games and fine dining concept, will join The Battery entertainment district in September. The "eat, drink play" or "eatertainment" concept will replace the previously announced Kings Bowl retro bowling and high-end food and drink concept.

The concept joins Antico Pizza, Wahlburgers and a Terrapin Beer-themed taproom and microbrewery at the entertainment district next to the new ballpark near Cumberland Mall. Much of the Battery's first phase is expected to open in time for the Braves' inaugural season at SunTrust Park.
